Abstract

|
It can be stated from the present investigation that: 1) There is no significant difference in therapeutic efficacy among the various dosage forms and duration of treatment, provided that administration lasts for not less than 5 consecutive days when given bid. 2) With the usual recommended dosage forms, i.e. group 1, local tolerance is relatively good. 3) General tolerance is quite satisfactory in the group with the dosage regimen of bid for 5 days. 4) Local reaction caused by intramusclar application of Bactrim hardly exceeds that of ampicillin.
